MGMT’S 7 INCHES

To help get the boys excited about their gig at McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn, Sunday the 27th, MGMT gave us a couple of their 7″ singles. We only have two, so if you want one (along with a 7″ from The Ting Tings, also playing on Sunday), be the first two people to send us a pic of your 7″ with “MGMT” written on it, and we’ll send you one of ours.

WE LOVE MAGAZINES! WE LOVE SPAIN!

ey_issue1.jpg
We received so many emails after our interview with Luis Venegas about his new Electric Youth! magazine (above), we’ve decided to carry it ourselves. Issue #2 is due out soon, but you can pick up the premiere “I Love Spain” issue in our store now. Hot hot hot Spanish boys on nearly every page. I’m just sayin…

We’ve also got a very few copies of Luis’ first-ever issue of Fanzine137, the “Anything Goes” issue, (below) from way back in September 2004, also in the EVB store.

By the way, if you’d like to hear about things like this before we make it public and sell out of everything, sign up on our mailing list.

ONE MORE SHOT

Hey boys, our first t-shirt is almost sold out! We’re sold out of large (thank you Germany, Sweden, Australia, London, LA, San Francisco and of course New York - everywhere really, xox), and extra small (thank you twinks all over the country, Tokyo, and the rest of the Pacific rim, extra special xox), but we have a few mediums and smalls left. Get one - when they’re gone they’re gone, but NOBODY PANIC we have a new design coming for the summer - though maybe not as cum-rag friendly.

And hey, nothing says love like a load on your chest. shirt1.jpg

CONFESSIONS ON A FURRY FLOOR

toes1_a.jpg

toes1_b.jpg
People send us some weird shit, but for some reason we felt like this had to be shared. Apparently it’s an interpretive foot dance between two Filipino boys in love. Foot fetish anyone? Maybe it’s one of those traditional dances - who knows. We have more if you want to see them. Click here to watch the video - and watch for the ring exchange.

GOOOOOOOOOAL!

One of our boys abroad in Singapore just sent us this. Yes it’s real, and yes its amazing! Apparently it’s the number one seller in China - I had no idea so many Chinese boys want Becks on their cock. Go figure.

BRING OUT THE GIMP

leather_boy.jpg

Not sure how this slipped past the editors at Marvel, but is seems in 2005(ish) there was a ball-gagged “miscreant” (love it) named Leather Boy. Apparently he joined some superhero gang but “was quickly dropped after his teammates realized he was merely a non-powered leather enthusiast who had misunderstood Mr. Immortal’s personal ad.” Seriously, thats a direct quote from Marvel.

SILENCE THE VIOLENCE

bloodylips.jpg

East Village Boys headed out this week to one of our favorite stores, BBlessing, to catch the opening reception of ‘Adolescence and the Virtues of Maturity’, curated by Daniel Jackson of BBlessing and Vincent Skeltis of Table Brothers. It promised to be good, with work from Studio Von Birken, Andrew H. Shirley, Danielle Levitt, Vincent Skeltis, Daniel Jackson, Justine Parsons, and Brendan Donnelly.

Unfortunately when we got to the door some sort of violence broke out, with one of the cutest BBlessing boys ending up with a bloody lip. Sure its bad, but he kicked out the trash (thank you), and looked damn good doing it. Extra fucking hot with bloody lips. Devastating really. Anyway, somebody pleaded to “silence the violence”, we all laughed, and what looked like a great opening ended early. So check it out and let us know how it is.
