This week's East Village Boy of the Week is Tarik, from London

I met Tarik a few years ago through my friend Eman. Every time I see him he will, without fail, yell "gimme some love" and proceed to pull me into a bear hug. I wanted to photograph him because he is the perfect blend of raw masculinity and modern day gentleman all mixed in with a splash of ghetto. I went over to his house in Peckham, London where he fed me space cakes, stripped off to his boxers and we took pictures. - Jeff Hahn

Nathaniel works behind the bar at one of the trendiest East London haunts, and is a knitwear student at the reputable Central Saint Martins. I wanted to explore the intimate and personal side of him, what lay beneath the clothes. We shot these images one morning in his flat in Dalston. - Jeff Hahn
